Are you visiting Gibraltar for your own or a friend/family members wedding? Hour Weddings has complied a list of free things to do when visiting Gibraltar for an elopement or large wedding.
Crossing the border into Spain requires your passport which will be stamped (entering the EU)
LA LINEA:
La Línea de la Concepción, often referred to simply as La Línea, is a town located in the province of Cádiz in Andalusia, southern Spain: basically directly across the border from Gibraltar. Here are some things you can do in La Linea
Visit the Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción: This church is the most important religious building in the town and is a beautiful example of Andalusian Baroque architecture.
Explore the San Felipe Fort: This historic fort was built in the 18th century to defend against British attacks and is now a museum where visitors can learn about the town's military history.
Enjoy the beaches: La Línea de la Concepción has several beautiful beaches, including Playa de Levante and Playa de Poniente, where you can relax, swim, and enjoy the sunshine.
Take a trip to Gibraltar: The British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar is located just across the border from La Línea and is worth a visit to see its famous rock, explore its tunnels, and visit the Gibraltar Nature Reserve.
Sample the local cuisine: La Línea de la Concepción is known for its delicious seafood dishes, such as fresh sardines grilled over an open flame. Be sure to try some of the local restaurants and tapas bars. We recommend Tomilleros, La Chimenea & Bodebar.
